Shows like “America’s Got Talent” see all sorts of performances — singers, dance troupes, comedy acts, ventriloquism, and more. But what they don’t usually see is a 10-year-old opera prodigy who sounds like a professional singer.

Emanne Beasha is originally from Amman, Jordan.

She’s only 10 years old — it’s worth saying twice. Because if you listened to her with your eyes closed, you might think you were listening to a professional opera singer on stage at the Metropolitan.

Emanne’s latest performance of “Ebben” showed off her sweet soprano vocals and dazzling breath control. The entire auditorium sat silent and breathless as she sang. It was clear she was in a league of her own.

Judge Simon Cowell put it more succinctly.

“You aren’t just in a different league tonight, you’re on a different planet from everyone else,” he continues, “This is one of those times I’m going to remember. If you don’t get through [after that], I will eat this judging table.”

Judge Julianne Hough, meanwhile, could not hide her admiration. Hough is a total Emanne Beasha groupie you could say. She just can’t get over this dynamic little girl’s talent.

“She’s an icon at 10-years-old and helping to pave the way for many artists to come,” said Hough.

But even though Emanne is only 10 years old, she already has an impressive number of awards and honors under her belt. In 2017, she won the fifth season of “Arabs Got Talent.” She also received the King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein Gold Medal of Merit from the king himself in her native Jordan.

Her parents realized she had a talent for singing at just two years old when she gave a performance of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.

Her first audition of “America’s Got Talent” was a performance of the song Nessun Dorma from Turandot. The song earned four yeses, sending her to the judge cuts. There, she received four standing ovations. But she also earned something else very special — a Golden Buzzer from guest judge Jay Leno.

“I feel like I am witness to something extremely special,” said Leno. “At some point in my career, people will say, ‘What do you remember the most?’ And I’ll say, ‘I remember hitting the Golden Buzzer.'”

Her performance of Ebben? No, Andro Lontana at the Quarterfinals was enough to earn her yet another standing ovation (again, from all four judges) and send her through to the Semifinals.

Dressed in a pink dress and looking — well, like a little girl, Emanne raised the roof with her powerful voice.

As the stage filled with fog, the audience sat mesmerized by the small figure on the stage with the enormous voice.

Emanne’s career is just getting started but she’s already come a long way. There’s no doubt that one day, she’ll be counted as one of the great opera singers of the 21st century. And the 10-year-old has also shyly admitted that she loves BST and wants to collaborate with them — so maybe, we’ll see her in other genres, too.
