“I’ve never heard that song before!” – said Simon Cowell, never ever (until now).

Are you like me, and totally bored of “Bohemian Rhapsody” because you’ve already heard it sung a million different times by a million different artists?

Then prepare to get shook, because this Norwegian child star proves that what’s old is definitely brand new again!

Like many singers, 13-year-old Angelina Jordan has always dreamt of the day she could perform in front of Simon Cowell. Recently, her girlhood dream finally got to play out when she won a coveted spot on America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

For Angelina, it was the biggest opportunity of her life.

But for Simon, it was just another day on the job. He reacted with his usual eye-roll and exasperated scowl the moment she starting gushing about the “legendary” man.

She’s been waiting 10 years for the chance to impress Simon.

I know what you’re thinking, she probably should have picked another song. Using “Bohemian Rhapsody’ as a ticket into the big leagues doesn’t usually pan out for young hopefuls like her.

Not only has Simon heard Queen’s #1 hit a bajillion times, but so has everyone else.

Except, we actually haven’t! Not this version, not ever. And let me tell you, it’s totally been worth the wait!

To give you some background info, Angelina is already a star in her own right. She first wowed crowds as a 7-year-old when she crooned Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday” on Norway’s Got Talent. She later went on to win that season with her old-soul, blast-from-the-past vocals.

Even though she’s already an accomplished singer, she still gets the jitters on stage.

Now that she’s made her way to the American side of the pond, Angelina is hoping to snake-charm the one judge who can make or break her future in the music industry.

Turns out Angelina had absolutely nothing to worry about.

That’s because her spine-tingling voice is truly a power unto itself!

Not only did Simon get all starry-eyed over her gorgeously exquisite rendition of the most over-covered song in history, but everyone in the audience held up a “candle” to her brilliance by waving around the flashlight on their cell phones.

There are probably more people out there that have heard “Bohemian Rhapsody” than not, so I’ll spare you the details about what it’s supposed to sound like.

Just know that the complex vocal layers that make this song so fabulously-gasmic for your ears are totally absent from this version!

But don’t let that fool you – it’s the simplicity, the way she weaves her unique jazzy signature into the mix that makes this an Angelina Jordan original.

Make no mistake, no one can do what Angelina just did on stage. She made one of the most recognizable songs on the planet sound so beautifully and hauntingly different!

Not surprisingly, she got a standing ovation from both the audience and the panel of judges.

As you can see in the video below, Heidi was beside herself with excitement over the incredible old-school voice that came out of the talented teen!

Simon’s comments made the rising young star cry – but in a good way!

“Everything about tonight felt like it came from you – the arrangement of the song, the simplicity of it. I’ve never heard that song, that version before. Seriously, this was an amazing performance!”
