Woman And Her Dog Win The Crowd On 'Britain's Got Talent'
Though there have been some great dog performances over the years, this one might be the best!

Without a doubt, there are few animals that humans can bond more closely with than dogs.

As anyone who knows the history knows, humans and dogs co-evolved and shaped each other along the way. As dogs became less ferocious as compared to their wilder wolf counterparts, they also developed a greater sensitivity to human emotions.

Through that ability to communicate, humans and dogs grew closer and closer, depending on one another’s company more and more. Today, there are few relationships that are as close or meaningful as that with a great pup.

And this performance from Britain’s Got Talent shows that better than anything else!

The audition in question took place in 2012.

Like any other performance, it began backstage with the performers explaining a little bit about themselves. The act is called Ashleigh and Pudsey, and consists of a woman and her best doggy friend, Pudsey.

As she explains, she got Pudsey for her 11th birthday and was never the same since! Over time, the two only grew closer and closer. As her mom even says, Ashleigh never even cared about boys that much—she was more fixated on her dog!

Before long, it’s time for them to meet the judges.

After walking out on stage, Ashleigh explains their relationship and that they’ll be doing a dance for them.

Before long, the judges clear the way for the two of them to perform. With that, they get in position at the edge of the stage.

A moment later, music starts playing and the two of them start into a hilarious performance choreographed to the Flintstones’ theme song! Before long, Pudsey is walking on his hind legs towards Ashleigh, Ashleigh is down on her knees trotting around with Pudsey and more.

Needless to say, it’s clear that the two of them have practiced this routine over and over.

Though the performance is only halfway over, all the judges have the biggest smiles on their faces.

After their floor routine is over (and after a few more jumps and leaps over one another), Pudsey gets back on his hind legs and hops around the stage. Towards the end, Ashleigh even makes a loop with her hands that he jumps through. To wrap things up, they do a cute move where Pudsey taps her feet and finally jumps into her arms.

When it’s all over, the crowd gives them a standing ovation!

After that, it’s time for the judges to give them their feedback.

First up is judge Simon Cowell, who says it all: “Brilliant!” As all the judges explain in their own time, the chemistry and the choreography between the two was so perfect all the way through that it was a joy to watch. As Cowell says himself, he’s a sucker for a dancing dog routine, and Pudsey’s moves were some of the best he’s ever seen.

Finally, he says he only has one suggestion for the duo: next time, Pudsey should be in a costume as well!

Needless to say, Ashleigh and Pudsey got their yeses from all the judges.

As this routine shows, the bonds between people and their animals are some of the closest that we ever experience in a lifetime. It also shows that no matter what your special talent, there’s always room for it on any of the Got Talent shows!
