Dance is one of those universal activities that everyone loves.

It frees a person’s soul and connects people with those around them. Though there are many different types of dance, one of my favorites has to be swing dancing. In this awesome video, these swing dance instructors show us why they’re the best teachers, with this epic routine.

Swing-dancing to perfection, these boogie dance instructors really know how to cut a rug.

While swing dancing encompasses a wide variety of partner dances, they all originated when big bands started to take over pop culture. This particular form of dance came around in the 1920s. While there are many different ways to swing-dance, the version they’re doing in this video is called the boogie-woogie.

In the video, you can see one of the dancers comically stretching out before they jump right into it. As soon as the music starts, the swing dancers put on a spectacle—right from the very beginning. At first two female dancers step out on the floor to show off their moves. A moment later, their male counterparts slide in right behind them.

The dancers show off their flexibility, raising their legs above their heads all while standing on one foot!

Right from the jump, these instructors show viewers what years of hard work and practice will do for your technique! They flawlessly go through their routines without skipping a beat, and the energy in the room is palpable.

Move after move, they continue to wow the crowd, who cheers them on with every twist and turn. Spinning, shaking and contorting their bodies, these boogie dancers clearly know what they’re doing!

As they move to the music, the dancers continually switch partners.

Even for dancers who have been performing for a long time, precision like this is hard to come by. Even when they switch partners, the boogie continues. The male dancers show off their arm strength by lifting the girls off of the ground without breaking a sweat!

With massive smiles on their faces, it’s easy to tell that the instructors really love what they do! And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the acrobatics begin.

Using momentum to their advantage, one of the boogie dancers fully flips his partner over his head.

One dancer helps guide his partner over his head into a full front flip, though she smoothly lands and the dancing continues. Another flip comes shortly after, and this time the female dancer helps her partner do a backflip.
