One kid did something none of us ever could. He roasted his teachers on stage, putting them on the spot as the audience laughed at his jokes the entire time.

We did live in a different time, where roasting a teacher probably meant detention, but this 10-year-old boy proved that times are ever changing.

Meet little Kannon, the roaster.

Kannon’s mom is a teacher in the same Oklahoma school. Candace Dally teaches at Chisholm Elementary, so imagine seeing your own son roasting your colleagues at the talent show. Turns out, it was his first comedy act too.

The kid starts with a Mrs. Ball, whom he says is the “sweetest, most kind-hearted person” in his school. Except he questions her teaching methods as he had to repeat the first grade.

You know the kid’s got a point there.

The next teacher got a bit of a compliment, where Kannon says he had the best year during that particular class. And that’s because he got to play video games during Zoom meetings.

“And I still got good grades,” he says of the teacher.

The pandemic did have its perks.

Kannon gets to his current fourth-grade teacher, to which the crowd reacts with an “Ooohh!”

A teacher, he says he wouldn’t trade for the world. Except for the fact that instead of getting a dog for a class pet, his teacher got a bunny. An animal that reminds him of his… grandpa.

Wait, what?

“All it really does is eat, sleep, and poop.”

He is one cheeky little dude.

“Can you imagine going through a drive-thru with Mrs. Hamilton?” he goes. Doesn’t sound too promising.

Kannon proceeds to mock Mrs. Hamilton, pretending to order a burger with a soft, whispery, high-pitched voice. Almost like a squeaking stammering mouse.

“Well I’ve got a message for Mrs. Hamilton. Ch-Ch-Chill out!” quips Kannon.

At this point, the principal probably raised an eyebrow, before looking at Mrs. Hamilton with a teasing laugh. It’s all good!

He then goes to another teacher, asking the crowd to imagine if they were her kids. Kannon once again imitates the teacher, speaking in a sing-songy soprano style voice.

The kid saves the best for last. His own mother.

Candace Dally seems to be everyone’s PE teacher. Now that’s almost everyone’s favorite subject, but not for young Kannon here. After all, he does live with her so every day is like PE class.

At least according to this kid.

Kannon pretends to be his mom, marching around the house with a whistle as she barks commands at him. The best part about all this is his dad helped him to write his skit.

Mr. Chris Dally is in a lot of trouble.

Well, the two boys are. It’s all fun and games until they get home. Perhaps Candace didn’t cook dinner that night. Maybe Kannon wasn’t allowed to play video games.

Or dad wasn’t allowed to watch that game. And sleep in the same bed.

Who knows, but everyone did seem to enjoy the roast. It’s a welcome relief!
