Koopman experimented by using The Beatles’ “Blackbird” guitar riff to transition to Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.” Though the two songs aren’t very similar, he switches between them so seamlessly!

In Dublin’s crowded streets, Koopman began his performance with a familiar Beatles tune.

He breathed life into the song with his angelic vocals. The pre-recorded harmonies proved to be handy in his performance as it was able to enhance the music’s quality. After singing some verses, he suddenly changed his guitar picking to another familiar tune.

By jumping from classic to classic, you could hear the intro of Tracy Chapman’s famous hit “Fast Car.”

Although nobody from the crowd expecting it, he pulled it off perfectly because the riffs have some musical similarities. The shift was almost instantaneous! With the help of his loop pads, he replicates the instrumental in a way that sounds just as good as the studio version.

Furthermore, during the break at the near end of the song, he added in a percussive beat for the song despite his lack of a drummer by using a MIDI controller. Afterward, he continued through the verses with ease until it all came to a slow, calming ending.
