At the beginning of the video, you can see a man bring the group of singers and musicians a skin-covered Djembe drum while one of them sits down with the instrument and asks “Are you ready?”

That’s when he begins playing an awesome drumline before breaking into the melody from The Lion King’s “Circle of Life.”

The energy is electric as the musician from Harmonize plays the Djembe with the whole restaurant cheering him on. When he starts playing a rapid drum roll, one of the female singers for the group sings the famous opening to “Circle of Life” in Korean.

Another singer comes out of nowhere, showcasing her vocals that are both powerful and gorgeous.

After a couple of quick solos, the entire group joins and begins harmonizing together with the waitstaff gathered around.

The best part comes when the waitstaff joins in the performance and begins harmonizing with them.

Proving that music always brings people together, the performance by Harmonize morphs into virtually the whole restaurant performing with them.

Even the toddler sitting in a booth with his mother joins in, standing on the seat and singing with the group that he’s clearly heard before.

This performance, while a surprise, isn’t completely random. Harmonize had been practicing Disney’s The Lion King theme song getting ready for the World Choir Games in Tshwane, South Africa, for which they won first in the Pop Ensemble Category.

At the end of the impromptu restaurant performance, Harmonize pulls out the big guns for one final harmony.

With practically the entire restaurant still singing with them, the gifted group of singers pushes their voices to the max for the last part of the performance. Everyone watching goes crazy with applause when the show ends, which is a given when you put on a display like that!
