Of all the many late night hosts out there, few have mastered the art of the viral video quite as well as James Corden.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Corden is the host of The Late Late Show. The program is unlike many other late night talk shows in a couple key respects, one being that it is a lot more casual and the guests all sit on couches with one another rather than in front of a desk.

More to the point, the show is also now famous for its wildly popular Carpool Karaoke segment, which so many other shows have tried to copy.

Still, that series isn’t the only internet-oriented campaign that Corden has up his sleeve.

The remote we’re talking about is a segment he calls Toddlerography.

As the video begins, Corden can be seen standing in a dance studio with Jennifer Lopez right beside him. Although Lopez is a worldwide talent with tons of hit singles under her belt (as well as hit movies), she’s also known as an incredible dancer in her own right.

In the introduction to the video, Corden explains that they’re waiting on the dance instructors to get there to teach them choreography—but they’re very, very strict. At this, Lopez asks who the instructors are.

Just at that moment, one of them walks in—and it’s definitely not what she expects.

As the camera pans across the room, it reveals a little boy standing there—a toddler.

All of a sudden, the joke behind the segment becomes clear. With that, the little boy moves to the front of the classroom and music starts playing.

Before long, he’s making up all kinds of wacky dance moves and is moving to the music however he sees fit. Behind him, Corden and Lopez imitate his movements as smoothly and precisely as they can! Before long, other toddlers come in to show them their moves!

As it turns out, toddlers have a ton of energy!

Although the first little boy has moves that they can keep up, things get surprisingly difficult from there!

Another little boy wants to make Lopez and Corden do all kinds of complex rolls and arm movements. After that, one little girl drops into the splits and Corden’s jaw drops in shock!

After that, they’re subjected to all kinds of other complex rolls and drops and moves that nobody expected. When it’s finally all over, the studio audience gives them a huge round of applause.

Needless to say, Lopez and Corden got a pretty great workout from all the dancing.

Since the clip was posted online, it has earned some 11 million views on YouTube alone.

Although the idea behind the segment is great all on its own, one of the funniest things about it is how well Lopez is able to turn seemingly nonsensical dance moves into incredibly smooth and fluid movements!

Although we wish we could say the same about Corden, let’s be honest: it’s pretty hard to upstage Jennifer Lopez in a dance contest. Above all, we have to tip our hat to Corden’s writers and social team—these segments keep getting better and better!
