China is the largest country in Asia with a rich and fascinating culture. While many aspects of Chinese culture prove perplexing to the rest of the world, there are more that prove why China is considered a great nation worth learning more about.
Chinese families are often portrayed as conservative, always putting value on honor and dignity. Setting the bar high for academic excellence, economic performance, and generally thriving as a nation, China continues to leave distinct footprints on the world.
But no matter how serious and disciplined most Chinese families are, that doesn’t mean they aren’t allowed to showcase their talent and creativity, and basically just let loose and have fun.
If you’re having trouble picturing that, check out this grandpa who proves that age is just a number.
He defies the typical grandfather stereotype, too. You know, the kind that depicts grandpas as cool, strong, silent figures who go about with impressive decorum and knowledge.
This particular grandpa is all that and more.
Along with his two granddaughters, the doting grandfather happily shows off some dance moves. They did more than just move casually about.
They had some pretty fancy footwork, too!
In fact, they even had some moonwalk-inspired moves that attracted a small crowd.
The trio sure aren’t the type to be confined by a strict routine. Perhaps it was grandpa’s brilliant idea. “Let’s head out and dance!”
Or maybe it was the little girls who thought of doing so.
Regardless, the three sure know how to have fun! One minute they’re just out and about and the next, they’re demonstrating some pretty awesome dance moves for passersby. Looking so adorable while dancing, the three make dancing spontaneously look like the most normal thing in the world. Coming from a nation that’s pretty big on dignity and composure, it’s refreshing to see this side of their culture – the side that tells the world, “Hey, we know how to have fun, too!”
Grandpa wowed more than just the crowd that gathered. He left quite an impression on some online viewers, too.
“I want him for my grandpa and I’m not even Chinese. Does he adopt?”
One can only wish to be as spunky, agile, and talented as this grandpa at his age.
“Grandpa has got moves! One very cool grandpa, and the little ones are very accomplished.”
Grandpa’s smooth moves and the way his granddaughters gamely danced along shows just how much time they spend together.
Grandfathers always have a way of making life more fun for their grandchildren.
Whether it’s through exploring places with the young ones, trying out new dishes, or teaching them essential skills, grandfathers leave an impact that no one in the world can ever surpass or measure up to.
Instead of quiet activities like drawing, painting, or going on strolls, this grandpa would much rather step outside and dance with his two granddaughters. These little girls sure are lucky to have someone as fun-loving! And he’s quite blessed to have grandkids as free spirited and creative as he is, too.
