Getting old doesn’t mean sitting around and having everybody doing everything for you.

In fact, there are so many seniors who are now taking up challenges to show the younger ones how it’s done. Some sing, dance, and others even hit the gym!

With all those years, a deteriorating body is inevitable, and while it is a sad thought, no one can really beat time. It’s just a part of life so it’s up to us how to live.

Dancing improves mental health.

Older men and women tend to have mood disorders. Taking part in a dancing program can help them feel less depressed, since dancing reduces their stress levels.

That means less anxiety and insomnia. The trick is convincing them to get up and dance.

Good to see these older men and women dancing and having lots of fun at the mall!

Elderly people get physical benefits too, like better balance, strength, and gait, which helps reduce the risk of falling.

Those arm and leg muscles are constantly moving so improving their balance works for them since it helps improve their coordination.

None of these elderly folk tripped or fell during the dance. It really works for them!

It’s a simple dance, with a lot of arm raising and clapping to the beat. They got to smile and have fun while bringing smiles to their surprised audience.

Dancing is great since it keeps them fit and healthy. It helps keep their bones and muscles active, and that’s really important since age has the body slowing down and weakening.

Dancing burns calories too since it works the heart.

The elderly can suffer from high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes, and many other ailments. They don’t need to hit the gym since dancing like this really works.
