Flintz and T4ylor are a rap and pianist duo who went on stage and gave “Britain’s Got Talent” everything the audience and judges wanted in an audition with their performance.

Flintz is 22, while T4ylor is 17. The two have never rehearsed together. The two boys met virtually “through the first lockdown, via Instagram” and it was during their audition on BGT that they first met.

Let that sink in for a moment.

T4ylor told the judges during the pre-audition interview of how he sent the piano backing to Flintz over social media. He did this so that Flintz could practice his original rap “Change”.

That’s a song Flintz wrote for his younger brothers. He hopes to inspire them to not take “the same footsteps” he once did.

Flintz spoke about the emotional story behind his lyrics, explaining, “I was a troublesome kid, hanging out with the wrong set of people, going down the wrong path,’ before saying that his parents ‘dragged him out’ of that and helped him become ‘the person [he is] today.”

Flintz added that his dad was his inspiration, so he had to give a shout out to his dad who stood up to receive the recognition. His mom and brothers looked on eagerly waiting for big bro to start rapping.

What a wonderful big bro he is.

T4ylor takes his position, Flitz ready to show the world his talent. And as T4ylor begins playing and Flintz starts rapping, it’s pretty clear that this duo is serious and super talented.

A collective silence falls over the audience as Flintz raps and tells a story about his life.

Even the judges are listening intently. He can rap but the words are so powerful.

And once the duo were done, a moment of hushed awe took over everyone before they realized that they had to get up and applaud the boys. The four judges included!

“There are a lot of people watching that who will relate and they’ll take a very positive message from it,” David Walliams said of the two boys.

“Everything was so clear and so passionate. I loved hearing your story,” Amanda Holden told Flintz, before addressing Taylor, “You are phenomenal on that piano. I mean, amazing.”

Yes he was. Truly.

Simon said, “It was real, that was what was great about it. It was real, and I loved that. It was like a scene from a great movie. This shouldn’t have worked bearing in mind how you’d never met before today. Everything was just brilliant.”

“Even when your voice broke with emotion at the end, it was just an absolutely perfect audition. Genuinely, it’s everything we look for.”

With T4ylor’s super smooth piano performance and Flintz’s straight up passionate storytelling, Alesha Dixon saved the “best till last” standing up and pressing down on the golden buzzer.
