Although it goes without saying, weddings are one of the most important days in anyone’s life.

If you’ve been in a relationship with someone for a long time, eventually the time comes when everyone discusses their future together. Although not everyone decides to take the leap, the decision to spend the rest of your life with someone else is not something to take lightly. Perhaps accordingly, it makes sense that the wedding itself requires so much painstaking planning as well! There are flowers to buy, hotels to book, seating charts to arrange and so much more.

Still, after everything is said and done, the day is supposed to be a celebration as well.

While the big day is often quite stressful for the bride and the groom, it can be quite a lot of fun for the people attending.

Although there’s always the risk that the maid of honor will cry too much during her speech or the best man will bring up something embarrassing, there are usually plenty of fun and memorable moments to be had at any wedding. Best of all is when the wedding party puts in some effort to do something special on the big day. Although there are many different wedding stunts that can be planned, one that happens frequently is when the bridesmaids or the groomsmen do a choreographed performance.

Fortunately, we have one for you today that’s one of the best that we’ve ever seen.

As the clip starts, the theme song from The Lion King can be heard playing.

Although everyone recognizes the song, it’s a little confusing at first why it’s being played. Just after that, the camera pans—the groom is being carried in on a chair by all the other groomsman like he’s a king! Gradually, they set him down in the middle of the dance floor and the music stops.

Shortly after that, the music switches to “Single Ladies” by Beyoncé—and that’s when the real magic starts!

The boys start off by doing their version of Beyoncé’s iconic choreography.

They strike all the recognizable moves from the video before getting in a line. Although not all of the groomsmen are equally into it, the groom definitely gives it his all! Before long, the first group of men switches off and more men come in to help the groom out. Next, they all put sailor’s hats on as “Candyman” by Christina Aguilera starts playing. At this point in the dance, the bride can’t believe what she’s seeing!

Still, the performance is nowhere near over.

One thing becomes clearer and clearer as the dancing goes on: this groom actually has some real moves.

The song switches again to the “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO for a quick interlude before changing up to a classic pop hit: “Stop” by the Spice Girls! Everyone in the crowd is cheering loudly at this point as the boys do more of their interpretive dancing to the song’s lyrics. Once that one ends, everybody gets back on the dance floor in formation for a big finale.

Though everything has been great so far, the boys save the best for last.

For the first part of the ending suite, the guys nail the dance from “Gangnam Style” by Psy.

All of the boys are stomping along to the music, pointing at the bride when the lyrics talk about a “sexy lady.” After that, they switch into a rousing version of “Shake a Tail Feather” by The Five Du-Tones. Finally, the music dies down and the men take a break for a second. In the background, Dirty Dancing’s iconic song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” is playing and it’s clear they’re going to do something big.

Sure enough, the men get in position and lift the groom high into the air!

By this point in the performance, the crowd goes wild!

Finally, the groom steps down and gives his wife a big kiss! The video was posted online in 2016 but it has since gotten more than five million views. Still, after watching all the effort these guys put in, it’s not hard to see why! For those of us that get married, it’s a day that only comes once in a lifetime (if we’re lucky). Because of that fact, why shouldn’t people try to make it as fun and as memorable as possible? These guys have certainly set the bar high—this may actually be the best groomsman dance we’ve ever seen. We’re going to keep rewinding to study the moves!
