As we know, musical talent can run in families. We’ve seen many celebrity examples over the years too – such as the von Trapps, the Jacksons, the Jonas brothers, and the Carpenters.

There’s another pair of family members from England who are also musically gifted – the Steel siblings.

Hollie and Josh Steel are both incredible vocalists on their own. But during a show at The Leatherhead Theatre, the audience was given a special treat when they performed on stage together, singing a piece from The Phantom of the Opera. The results were stunning.

If Hollie looks familiar to you, perhaps it’s because you remember her as being a contestant on season three of BGT

Hollie was only 10-years-old when she auditioned for the show, walking in front of the judges dressed as a ballerina.

At first, Hollie danced to the song, “I Could Have Danced All Night,” a performance that had Simon rolling his eyes and hovering his hand over the buzzer. It didn’t seem like she had a chance.

Amazingly, she ended up blowing them all away.

Little did the judges know Hollie actually had another talent up her sleeve. A short time into the audition, she suddenly stopped dancing and began singing “I Could Have Danced All Night,” showing off her beautiful and powerful vocals. Everyone was stunned.

Not only did Hollie receive four “yeses” to move on to the next round of the show, but she also came in sixth place overall in the season!

Shows like BGT are known to lead contestants to other major opportunities. Young Hollie also found success after her appearance.

Hollie released her debut album called Hollie she hit the stage for a show called, “Hollie Steel & Friends.” It was there that she performed a duet of “Music of the Night” with her older brother Josh.

Hollie and her sibling share the same passion for music.

Josh (who’s five years older than Hollie) began singing and dancing when he was a kid, with Hollie following in his footsteps. Interestingly, he also hoped to be a contestant on BGT that same year – but it didn’t work out. Josh explained to the Lancashire Telegraph how happy and proud of his sister he was for her accomplishment!

He also shared:

“I love her, she’s really giggly and she’s smart and bright. Hollie is an optimist, she doesn’t like to give up and tries her hardest.”

Get ready for a breathtaking sibling duet.

In the video below, it’s apparent they’re both wickedly talented when it comes to performing. Hollie plays the lead female character from The Phantom of the Opera (Christine Daaé), while Josh plays the Phantom himself.

Josh is the one to begin their performance and his beautiful voice fills the auditorium. Wearing the iconic white mask, he locks eyes with his sister in the role of the Phantom – singing the song to both her and the crowd.

Hollie doesn’t disappoint.

On BGT, Hollie memorably performed the classic songs “I Could Have Danced All Night” and “Edelweiss.” She also sang another Phantom of the Opera tune in the final.

By no surprise, Hollie once again sings like an angel during their duet of “Music of the Night.” Really, no wonder this kid became a star!
