Most jobs weren’t as flexible in the past as they are now.

Today, people can work from home. Most of us can organize meetings via different social platforms, and things have become so accessible that a singer can take his job to a plane. That’s right, we’re about to show you a choir performing on an airplane.

You may remember The Kingdom Choir from The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

They stunned everyone then, and they’re about to do it again—in the sky. The Kingdom Choir members are united in one mission: to share love, hope and inspiration. We would say that they’re doing it just fine. Imagine getting on a plane just to perform a surprise song for your fans!

We’ve checked out The Kingdom Choir’s official website, and there’s plenty of interesting information there.

The Choir is formed of individual performers from in and around London, and they all share the same passion for creating a sound that would demonstrate a community they live in.

Led by one of the UK’s most respected conductors, Karen Gibson, these artists are active on the scene for more than 20 years.

As expected, the performance of “Stand by Me” at the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle launched this gospel choir to stardom.

Since then, the British press describes Gibson as “Britain’s godmother of the gospel.” In 2018, the choir released its debut album “Stand by Me” which contains 14 covers and one original song called “Chases.” British Airways recognized the potential to put on a phenomenal show on one of their airplanes. Of course, it’s a form of marketing, but what a clever move it was.

British Airways decided to surprise passengers on route to the 2018 Invictus Games Sidney, and the sky-high performance wowed travelers at 35,000 feet.

The Kingdom Choir was already a household name when their show among the clouds took place.

The Royal Wedding was behind them, everyone knew who they were, and people started recognizing them as soon as they appeared from behind the curtain. You can see how suddenly everyone’s mood changes.

People simply felt that they’re about to be part of something wonderful, and it worked as an instant mood-booster.

Almost everyone sang along, and some even briefly stood up and danced a bit. You can see that the cabin staff is very proud of the company they belong to. People’s phones are out to film the surprise!

There are so many golden voices onboard.

It has to be pointed out, once again, that every member of the choir has an incredible voice. Those harmonies are incredible. We loved the way they communicated with the audience, and it’s almost unbelievable that a mini-concert on a plane can be so engaging.

By the end, there’s not a single face without a smile!

It’s interesting to know that the choir was created because of a BBC request because they needed a choir for a special program they were broadcasting.

It’s amazing how far your hard work can get you!

Since it was posted, the clip has earned more than six million YouTube views. Even though The Kingdom Choir performed all over the world, this act has to be among the most exciting they’ve done!

Delivering an awesome show is never easy, let alone doing it under such unusual circumstances.

The passengers were thrilled, and turning these kinds of performances into traditions would be very interesting.
