You’ve probably seen America’s Got Talent, but did you know that the Got Talent franchise is global?
Though America’s Got Talent has definitely got its international viewers, many different countries have their own specific versions of the show with their own contestants as well.
Though sometimes these performances make the rounds on the internet, many of them never get discovered by American audience. Needless to say, this is a shame because there is so much talent out there in the world!
Fortunately, we’ve got one of those special performances to show you today.
This clip came from Spain’s Got Talent and features one of the most insane performances we’ve seen in a while.
As the video begins, the contestant Muy Moi walks out onstage and presents himself to the judges. He steps up to the microphone wearing all black and a strange top hat with goggles on top of it. After talking to the judges, Moi talks about where he’s from and where he currently lives, in Germany.
After a few moments, it’s time for him to start his performance.
Everything starts with Moi doing some pretty incredible dance moves.
Right of the bat, he shows just how incredibly flexible he is. Although he can pretty easily move his arms out of their joints, he takes things up a notch when he starts twisting his thumb around in impossible directions. Shortly after that, Moi produces a knife and brings it up to his tongue without getting cut!
The whole audience gasps… but Moi isn’t done!
After that, Moi takes the same knife and puts the whole thing in his nose!
Needless to say, everyone in the crowd is shocked and can’t believe what they’re seeing. Even though he started off as a simple dance act, he gradually raises the stakes and puts himself in more and more danger.
Before long, he pulls out a flaming baton and brings it right up to his face. After that, he holds the flames in his mouth without even flinching! Still, he’s not done. After that, he takes a drink of some liquor.
What happens next is truly incredible.
Although people are used to circus performers swallowing swords and spitting fire, people don’t usually light themselves on fire.
As it turns out, that’s exactly what Moi does. With the liquor in his mouth, he jumps in the air, puts the flame below him and spits on top of it.
After that, his whole body is engulfed in flames! Still, he emerges out of it completely unharmed—and that’s when the whole audience gets on their feet and starts clapping for him!
Still, at the end he does one last incredible trick.
Before long, he brings out a bunch of broken glass and lays his face on it.
After that, he has one of the judges stand on top of his back with all of her weight on him while he presses himself into it. Everyone in the crowd is watching with bated breath… but once again, he emerges unharmed.
Though it goes without saying, the performance shocked everyone and left the crowd in awe. When it’s all over, he even gets the Golden Buzzer! Needless to say, this clip shows just how much talent this show has helped to discover.
