I'd say he nailed it.

We’re all familiar with the timeless tune, “Footloose”.

The song, of course, was used in the 1984 movie, also titled “Footloose”, with the infamous dancing scene still being well-known today.

Many people have attempted to copy the “Footloose” routine, and a video of the original performance has more than 68 million views on YouTube.

Of the famous faces to mimic the movie scene, Ricky Martin’s reenactment is one of the most entertaining.

The Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer took to the stage on Comedy Central UK and put on a hilariously epic performance of a lifetime.

Ricky knows a thing or two about entertainment, with his iconic Latin dance anthem,“Livin’ La Vida Loca,” still a big part of American pop culture today.

But he was going the extra mile in his choice to perform the “Footloose” dance.

Yes, Ricky might not have had to worry about singing, but the routine he picked is not an easy one to follow, as it comprises so many different dance styles.

If you’re going to attempt something like this, you have to do it perfectly, or it’ll probably just flop. Luckily for Ricky, he wasn’t just good at this dance – he was exceptional.

Does Ricky Martin age at all?

We would say no! Despite being in his late forties, he still can still clearly bust a move on the dance floor as well as his younger peers.

He manages to perfectly execute every single pose, bop, twist and jump that we all know so well from the “Footloose” movie.

Like Kevin Bacon in the original dance, Ricky’s infectious dancing makes us want to get up and party with him.

The performance is far from the only lip-sync video on the internet.

Ricky’s video competes with thousands of others – but there’s clearly a reason why some never take off in a viral sense.

Some people are just made to perform, and Ricky is one of them.

He’s known as the “King of Latin Pop”, but he proved that his Spanish singing talent isn’t his only trick up his sleeve.

On a stage setup that gives off totally convincing 1980s barnyard dance hall vibes, surrounded by colorful balloons and ribbons, Ricky embodies the character of a cheeky, slightly arrogant young man as he strides into center stage.

He’s got a team of backing dancers behind him, but all eyes are on Ricky throughout the performance.

It’s not just his slick dance moves that win the audience over. His lip-syncing, paired with comedic expressions, gets the crowd cheering in no time.

When the chorus kicks in, Ricky takes it up a notch further by joining his dancers to perform the infamous foot-tapping, knee-twisting, body-shaking “Footloose” moves.
