To accompany the singer, numerous other musicians and their instruments covered the stage as well. They helped provide backup music for Stewart, including when he sang, “What a Wonderful World.”

It’s a song that’s famous for pulling on heartstrings with its lyrics alone. That night, the audience was given a real treat getting to hear it paired with the legendary Rod Stewart.

There’s a wide variety of musicians on stage, from vocalists to violinists. All of them combined makes the performance even more amazing.

At one point, a very talented trumpet player is given the spotlight. A viewer commented on YouTube:

“Beautiful version by Rod. Outstanding and that trumpet soloist is absolutely first class and i hope every one realizes how difficult it is to double and triple tongue notes like that on a horn. Wow!”

Crowd members can be seen swaying and enjoying Stewart’s performance of the Louis Armstrong classic. However, there were some fans who got an extra-special experience they’ll never forget.

Dressed in a tux, Stewart walks over to the edge of the stage and begins shaking hands with a few of the female concert-goers. By no surprise, he does it while singing,

“I see friends shakin’ hands, sayin’ ‘How do you do?'”
They’re really saying, ‘I love you'”

Stewart takes a seat in an open chair as he continues to perform. Unsurprisingly, the women behind him go wild being so close to the artist. One even reaches out and touches Stewart’s hair, something many fans have likely dreamed about! As for the woman next to him, she mouths the lyrics to “What a Wonderful World.”
