Your wedding day is a very memorable occasion.
There are toasts from loved ones, ridiculous dance moves, and stories to be told for years to come.
However, not every wedding is alike.
In fact, their uniqueness is what makes going to multiple weddings so much fun.
For one couple, their wedding day was in jeopardy of being canceled.
Sharon Cook and Andrew Aitchison are from the UK and they had always dreamed of having their wedding take place in Las Vegas.
When the two decided that they were ready to tie the knot, they chose Caesars Palace as the location for the wedding.
Unfortunately, they had booked all of the flights for themselves and the guests through Thomas Cook travel agency.
When the agency collapsed, the couple was worried that their dream of a Las Vegas wedding was also lost.
The flights were all canceled and it seemed as though they weren’t going to be able to make things happen last-minute.
However, Caesars Palace decided to step in and help.
They reached out to Sharon and Andrew, letting them know that they were going to help them make their dream wedding a reality.
And not only were they going to make sure that it would take place, but they also had a few of their own surprises to add to the wedding as well.
Rod Stewart happened to be playing a concert in Vegas just three nights after the scheduled wedding.
As a wedding gift and surprise, Caesars Palace set up a special performance at the wedding for Sharon and Andrew.
Rod Stewart showed up with some of his band members and sang Sharon a love song right there in front of everyone.
Of course, everyone was shocked, most of all, Sharon.
She looks overjoyed from the moment that Rod Stewart walks up to her, to the moment that he finishes his song.
In the video below, you can watch as Rod makes his entrance to the wedding.
He’s dressed just a sharp as he would be at one of his live shows and he immediately makes his way over to Sharon and takes her by the hand.
The band begins to play and Rod sings one of his famous love songs directly to Sharon.
Andrew stands by her with a huge smile stretched across his face.
He knows that Rod is making his wedding day even more unforgettable than it was already going to be.
Andrew said in a Tweet:
“So @rodstewartjust turned up at our wedding and sang to my wife! I can’t believe what has happened in the last week and this has just topped it off. Thank you Rod you’ve absolutely made our dream wedding you absolute legend. We Can’t wait to see you Friday #LikeACaesar #SirRod.”
To top off the performance, Rod let Sharon sing the last chorus with him.
And you know what?
It turns out that she is an amazing singer, herself.
