Security guards bust out dance moves catching morning office workers off-guard
They thought it was just a normal day at the office...

Let’s be honest here, getting up for work at the office isn’t exactly something most of us look forward to. We’re having to juggle breakfast, coffee, phone calls and a commute – all with way too little sleep.

It may very well have been the same thing going on with these folks. These employees at Trade Desk UK were expecting this to be like any other work day. That was until one of the guards seemed to be in a rather good mood today.

It didn’t take much longer to see why!

Surprise flashmob, everyone! Bet you didn’t have that on your list of things that’d happen at work today. Once guard number 1 starts getting groovy, the show starts.

“We’ve made it a little more exciting.” – he says

That promise was delivered pretty easily. It’s pretty clear now that this guy wasn’t a real security guard. But before anyone can process what’s going on, he and the other “guard” are already grooving off to Come Together. They get some cheers and claps pretty quickly.

While Come Together is still playing, their friend joins them in on the fun. She gets twirled and spun, and now the party’s growing.

Got room for a fourth one?

About as quickly as the next song starts, the rest of the crew hops in to help the performance. Feeling some Bee Gees today, anyone? Because the next two flashmob members do a mighty fantastic job grooving to Stayin’ Alive. Why can’t my morning shifts be this cool?

And just when I thought their music taste couldn’t get any better, they hit us with some David Bowie and Black Box. Let’s Dance and Ride on Time are definitely going on my Spotify playlists now, thanks, guys.

This flashmob seems pretty seasoned in the dancing business, don’t they? Well, they’ve done this dozens of times.

These dancers are part of Club Mob, a performance service in the UK with quite the experience and reach. You can book them for potential flashmobs at events you’re a UK citizen who fancies exactly that.

For this show, the business was booked for the opening of Trade Desk UK’s offices. So if you’re a working-class UK citizen, maybe…just maybe…you might see Club Mob crash your workplace sometime. Nothing but superb flexibility, rhythm, and groove from every single person here!

This next track? It’s a radio edit of Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal. Pretty fitting, since this whole scene is pretty bonkers in the best way possible. This chest action and pumped up stomping and clapping is just the perfect amount of hype for the song. I expected no less from a team of longtime dancers.

Now plays an absolute banger of a song from John Newman, who gave us Love Me Again way back in 2013. Now 8 years later, it’s nice to hear that the man hasn’t lost his touch. His voice is as raspy and raw as ever, and it really shines in this track.

Naturally, a raw and intense track like this needs some equally raw and intense dance moves. Who better to deliver than Club Mob?
