Though she experimented with other kinds of music as well, she found her “groove,” so to speak, when she started to play the drums. Befor long, she was posting videos of herself doing drum covers of classic rock songs—and the world began to take notice.

Although Sina has posted plenty of amazing covers, there’s one in particular that earned plenty of attention.

Any classic rock fans out there know the song “Sultans of Swing” by Dire Straits.

Anyone who has heard it knows about it’s gently satirical lyrics, it’s breezy guitar lines and it’s nimble and shuffling drums in the background. It was the latter that Sina took on to prove just how good her skills were—and it paid off big time.

After an initial four count, she drops into the rhythm of it seamlessly. As the backing track plays, it’s clear that she’s plugged perfectly into the complicated rhythm of the drum part. Though the song goes on for about six minutes, she remains perfectly on-beat the whole time.

Since she posted the video, her performance has been viewed some 25 million times!

Still, Sina has posted all kinds of other drum performances as well.

In another video, Sina does yet another perfect drum cover to Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water.” Although the song is relatively slow, it still serves as a perfect demonstration of her great sense of timing.

For anyone who wants to see her do a faster drum cover, there’s also a very popular video to the surf rock song “Wipe Out” by The Surfaris!

Although her YouTube channel gets her all kinds of publicity, Sina also has a Patreon that her fans can donate to as well!

Although rock music has tapered off somewhat in recent years in terms of popularity, Sina’s channel is testament to just how fulfilling and pleasurable that kind of music can be. Even if you’re not all that familiar with the music, Sina’s talents deserve to be seen for themselves all on their own—after all, how many people do you know who can play drums this well?
