You don’t have to be a professional to step into Phil’s dance studio – no matter how much experience you have or how good your sense for rhythm is, his classes are always enjoyable and just plain fun.

He regularly organizes ‘Parent Jams’, where dads and mom can bring their little ones and dance with them.

The Parent Jams are always a huge success and both the parents and the kids are absolutely in love with the concept. Phil sets up a basic choreography and helps each parent-child team with some specific moves as well. The choreography is always nothing short of amazing.

For one of his most recent Parent Jam sessions, he decided to come up with a brilliant ‘Baby Shark’ dance.

The Baby Shark music and video have been insanely popular, especially among kids. The song just sticks in your head forever, which can definitely be annoying to some.

Fun fact: the song was actually created for educational purposes and has been popular worldwide ever since it viral. It originates from a popular South-Korean YouTube channel known as Pingfong. Given the very simple sing-along lyrics and beat, dancing to it isn’t exactly straightforward.

Luckily, the professional choreographer decided to use a techno remixed version of the song that is much more suited for the dance floor.

There were teams of parents and their kids that accepted Phil’s challenge to do a Baby Shark choreography, and the final result is an absolute joy to watch.

The whole thing starts with the traditional first notes of the Baby Shark, but when the remix starts hitting in, so do the cool dance moves.

The first duo is probably also one of the cutest. We can clearly see that dad is having an incredible amount of fun with his boy. Both have even dressed for the occasion, giving a very cool streetwear vibe.

The little boy’s smile is absolutely infectious and these two have got some serious moves! The little boy does an awesome imitation of the shark and is definitely the show-stealer here.

If there was a prize for the coolest duo on the dance floor, these two would probably be top contenders.

The five other teams were absolutely amazing too.

Admittedly, you can’t really recognize much of the original song once the techno beats start hitting, but you’d be too focused on the great dancing to notice anyway.

The next duo is absolutely electrifying and infectious, you can see that the other parents and kids in the background can’t keep their feet still.

Sassy and classy, that’s how the next mom and daughter duo could be best described. Rocking the dance floor with confidence and energy, these two bring the Baby Shark beat to a completely new level.

Phil even choreographed a special dance for two parents and their daughter.

The Parent Jam usually consists of duos, but Phil didn’t mind to prepare a dance routine for three. The extra dancer definitely adds an extra dimension that gives this Baby Shark dance a unique twist.

The final mommy and daughter team even added a few acrobatic moves into the mix, and they even matched their outfits with flashy red shoes.
