Ever since the world has heard of Aladdin and Jasmine’s fictional love story, thousands have become addicted to the theme song, “A Whole New World.”

Hundreds of musicians gave their attempt to this wonderful song, and this one might just be one of the best versions there is.

It started in 1992, when Disney released an animated musical fantasy film called Aladdin.

It was a story of a commoner named Aladdin falling in-love with the Sultan’s daughter, Jasmine. The main character was able to woo the princess with the help of a genie trapped in a lamp who agreed to grant him three wishes. It was the scene where Aladdin takes the princess out for a magical carpet ride that they both sang their iconic theme song, with Brad Kane and Lea Salonga taking the role of the characters’ respective singing voices.

Since then, the song became a worldwide classic, and was later reintroduced in 2019 by Zayn Malik and Zhavia Ward in the live-action remake of the movie.

The song’s newfound popularity invited even more people to sing it their own way.

Morissette’s Jasmine had a brighter tone, befitting of a princess’s voice.

She confidently ran through her verses and sang her high notes with a mesmerizing sound.
