Supported by her brother and foster father, Breanna took on a Cyndi Lauper classic ‘True Colors’.

The young girl’s nerves radiated from her at the very beginning but she still took hold of the microphone and tried her best.

A few lines into the first verse, Breanna faltered slightly, which threw her off, and she needed to step back for a moment.

Host Ricki-Lee and Judge Kate Ritchie came forward to comfort the girl and prod her to continue the song.

Her family could also be seen encouraging her to continue from the wings.

“Let’s go Breanna!” her brother called to her, him and their foster father looking almost as nervous as her.

Kate Ritchie went onto the stage to let her know that everyone was rooting for, and when the camera panned to the audience, the looks of concern on everyone’s faces proved Ritchie’s words true.

After a few deep breaths and a moment to gather herself, Breanna got right back it.

She started from the beginning, and though her nervousness was still palpable, she made it past the stumbling block from her first attempt.

Her confidence grew more and more as the song went on and just when everyone thought she couldn’t be doing any better, she surprised them all.

As an Australian Aboriginal woman, Breanna payed homage to her ancestors by singing in her traditional language of Wemba Wemba.

It seemed to take the crowd a moment to realize that was what was happening, but once they did the cheers and applause were overwhelming.

She made it to the end of her song and received a standing ovation from not only the crowd, but all four judges as well

“Golden Buzzer” the audience demanded and judge David Walliams was more than happy to comply.

Breanna’s face after Walliams hit the buzzer radiated happiness, and also shock.

As the golden confetti rained down on her, Breanna’s family ran onto the stage and swept her up in a huge group bear hug.

“…we’ve all been there,” he states, “at 16-years-old, that’s incredible to come on that stage and have the courage to stand there. And then it all got overwhelming, and not ’cause it wasn’t going well, because it was actually going brilliantly, but you got emotional. It makes you human, it makes us love you even more, and it was a beautiful moment and you deserve that more than anybody, so well done, Breanna. You’re a star!”

This young lady certainly has a bright future ahead of her.
