People often talk about the father and daughter dance, and while it is very sweet and always tear jerking, the mother and son dance is often overlooked, but is still very much the same.
The mother-son dance at a wedding reception is a tradition in itself.
People are now getting more creative with these dances, and one such man is Grant Tekell.
His dance with his mother is on a totally different level. They’re so much fun to watch!
Now there’s nothing wrong with traditional. In fact, they’re often very sweet and sure to make guests cry.
But it is a celebration, and a son has to show the world the woman responsible for raising him.
The mother-son dance is a symbol of his love and respect.
It’s a wonderful way for the groom to show his appreciation by spending time with his mom on what is a day full of love.

Grant looks super handsome in a suit while mom looks like she changed just for the dance. Even her shoes are telling.
From hip-hop, to funk, to pop, Grant and his mom take to the dance floor, their guests suddenly finding themselves watching the awesome duo and forgetting their food and drinks.

This time honored tradition receives a fresh breath of modern thanks to these two!
Grant and his wife Reagan met at a pool and got to know each other thanks to family and friends. The two fell for each other and soon Grant proposed to Reagan.
Reagan is now so blessed to have a really cool mother-in-law. Think of the grandkids next!
