People in the AMC Theater based in Burbank, California were just leisurely hanging around, relaxing and going about their respective business.

Suddenly, a guy in a uniform climbed down the stairs holding a violin. The man started playing the moment he reached the bottom. As the people had their attention at him, more violinists emerged from the crowd, some disguised as random strangers in the mall.

The people figured out the situation the moment more people assembled in front of the stairway.

Even so, they were surprised to see a flash mob in the form of a mariachi band! Some of the passersby stopped whatever they were doing and decided to watch the show. Eventually, more musicians arrived at the scene—including flamenco guitarists who strummed their guitars as they walked towards the group.

The show was just getting started—and the group kept getting bigger and bigger!

The mariachi band began singing their hearts out and strumming their instruments.

After a while, they gave a few musicians a chance to perform solos. While the solos were happening, more of their group started popping up from the sides while others descended from the staircase to join the rest below. Still, a Mexican mariachi band would never be complete without the presence of trumpets!

It took a while after a whole army of trumpeters marched at the scene, and each member wore a white shirt with a single letter imprinted on it.

When they lined up on the stairway as they blew their trumpets, you could see them spelling the words, “Pulling Strings.”

The mariachi band was now complete and they blasted the whole AMC Theater with their jolly and vibrant music! You can see the people huddling up to form a crowd and watch the band play until the end.

Apparently, the mariachi band was there to promote an upcoming movie at that time!

The movie was called Pulling Strings, and it was directed by Pitipol Ybarra, starring Laura Ramsey and Jaime Camil.

Pulling Strings was mainly about a struggling mariachi singer who fell in love with a U.S. Embassy employee while his only daughter was helping him get his visa. The movie was filmed in the capital of Mexico itself.

Clearly, this video shows the beauty of flash mob performances!
