Every high school has at least one golden moment. It’s the one thing the school becomes famous for. Well, for a particular school, it was all about their athletic cheerleaders. Not only were these guys and gals enthusiastic at games but they also competed to showcase their unrivaled skills.
2019 Cheer Athletics Wildcats World Showoff
That’s the name of the competition this high school cheer team competed in last year. From the minute they walked onto the floor, the crowd went wild. After all, they had built quite a reputation for themselves.
Fierce competition
Every year, the level of competition at this event is fierce. That means every person has to give their 100 percent best. And this high school cheer team knew that but they were more than prepared.
The setup
Before going into their first move, the cheer team had to get themselves set up. Even at that point, everyone was screaming. It was as though the crowd knew what was coming next. And let’s just say, this high school team didn’t disappoint.
They’re flying…
…or at least that’s what it looks like. The group on the ground sends some of the cheerleaders extremely high. It’s unimaginable that they could reach such heights. But they did.
Fun stunts included
While in the air, the athletic cheerleaders performed some impressive spins. You’d think with them being so high that the landing would be hard. But not for this team. They came down light as a feather thanks to their teammates.
Perfect synchronization
While performing some of the moves on the floor, the team stayed in perfect unison. Everything they did was spot-on. There’s no question this team practiced a long time to achieve such a high level of talent. The flying splits done by the guys? Perfection.
Tumbling galore
The team performed a lot of tumbling, as well. This too, they nailed. Remember, this group doesn’t just cheer. They’re bona fide athletes with outstanding physical capabilities. And they proved it during this competition.
They’ve gone viral
Last year’s routine by this high school was so amazing that the video of it uploaded to social media has garnered more than 3.5 million views. What these young people accomplish is truly beyond imagination. They’re so good that you want to watch them over and over again.
Would you look at that?
With absolute ease, the male cheerleaders hoist the female cheerleaders up and then hold them in position with one hand. That requires a tremendous amount of strength, stamina, and balance. All qualities this team possesses.
They excel
The things this cheer team does as part of their routine don’t even seem humanly possible. Yet, they excel at everyone with poise and grace. Kudos to whoever taught these cheerleaders because they did a fantastic job. And as for the athletes themselves…bravo.
Simply phenomenal
A lot of cheer teams have done incredible jobs over the years. But we’re pretty sure this one tops them all. They’re energetic and a blast to watch.
