Nothing changes the air like Christmas songs and decorations. It’s November, which means that depending on where you are in the world, there are probably a few houses and shops with their decorations out. And the songs!

Which one’s your favorite? They’re all great! Nothing brings the Christmas cheer like the songs. It’s been a tough year but not even a pandemic can stop the holidays! Ho-ho-ho!

Santa’s getting ready.

Which means that Rudolph, that red-nosed reindeer, needs to stretch those long legs and light up that nose because little boys and girls all over the world are expecting their presents. They deserve it after 2020!

Two guitars and an intro later, the daddy and daughter duo known for their Disney song covers launch into the beloved jingle about Santa’s lead reindeer and his luminous nose.

“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows”

Strum it, little lady!

“All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games”

Bet you’re smiling.

The lead reindeer is the ninth and the youngest of Santa’s reindeer team. He is the only one with a bright red nose of which he receives ridicule from the other reindeer. Rudolph can’t even join in their games!

Dasher, Dancer and Prancer. Vixen, Comet and Cupid, and Donner and Blitzen are the other eight who help pull Santa’s famous red sleigh through the night. But all that snow impairs visibility. This is why Santa told Rudolph to light the way with that nose!

Claire loves Rudolph.

She sings about the famous reindeer with so much joy. And she sings really well too! Dad lets his daughter take over some of the parts and little Claire does not shy away from hitting note after note.

Claire may very well be the first child that Rudolph directs the sleigh to. And who knows? She may get to pose for a picture with the infamous reindeer. No flash needed. That nose will do the rest.

A viewer says,

“I’ll never get tired of watching this baby girl’s personality and expressions when she sings!”

Claire is all about that bubbly little girl personality! You could even say she glows!

The question is… Is Claire on Santa’s “nice” list? We have a feeling she is. And just like Rudolph, Claire stands out from other kids her age. She’s got the talent. It’s not that easy playing the guitar while singing. And for a kid her age, it’s a rare sight.

People all over the world are getting into the Christmas spirit. It’s a little tougher this year for sure but when men and women around the globe join in the holiday spirit, the mood shifts dramatically.

Let’s be merry! If you play an instrument, jam with Dave and Claire here. If not, just sing along! It’s amazing what singing Christmas carols can do for you. Bring those lights out and hang them up. Put up the tree and let the kids decorate it. Rudolph needs to see them before he lands on your roof!
