Tango is regarded as one of the most beautiful and influential dances in the world.

Originating in Buenos Aires in the 18th century, tango quickly became worldwide popular. What makes it unique is its embrace and use of improvisation. We can all agree on the fact that there is something incredibly sensual in seeing a couple dancing the tango.

If you thought tango couldn’t be any more beautiful, try watching the tango on a rooftop while the sun is setting and all those amazing colors are splashing over a dancing couple.

Sounds amazing, right?

Tango has been around for a long time, and many famous dancers have done their own versions of the famous dance.

It’s been used in movies and TV shows, and tango acts are quite unavoidable in any dance competition.

Keep in mind that there are some differences between Argentine and ballroom tango.

Argentine tango has no basic steps, and dancers can improvise as much as they want.

On the other side, Ballroom tango has an eight-count basic that switches between slow and quick tempo.

Now that we’ve explained that, let’s remember that it’s not easy to perform tango in a way that hasn’t already been seen. The couple we see in the video does a modern take on a classic tango, and the results are outstanding.

We loved the scenery, the camera work and how much these two enjoy the dance.

It may be a modern version of tango, but the essential passion of tango has been maintained remarkably well.

Evelin Carvajal and Allen Walls are well-known in the world of dance.

As the video begins, the two dancers are on a rooftop, and the view behind them is beautiful.

Of course, you won’t be seeing much of anything behind them because your attention will be on Allen and Evelin. They share incredible chemistry, and their dance is amazing.

The duo made a few changes when it comes to the kind of outfits tango dancers usually wear.

Evelin is wearing a black, cut-out dress and Allen is in a classic black combination.

The sun is complimenting them with the most beautiful nuances of gold.

At the beginning of the video, Evelin approaches the camera, dancing slowly and looking seductively at the audience. Allen comes to her, tosses his coat aside, and the two start dancing.

The atmosphere is heated, and we love the convincing passion that these two radiate.

Both are professional dancers, teachers and choreographers who can dance in several different dances, including salsa, rumba, swing, waltz and tango.

As it turns out, Allen Walls even taught Antonio Banderas to dance tango!

You might remember Banderas’ steamy tango scenes in Take the Lead.

Well, Allen worked with the famous actor on that choreography—that’s the routine we’re seeing in the video. Wells has been working in Los Angeles for years, and there is quite a list of Hollywood names he’s collaborated with. He taught Ben Stiller his mambo in Along Came Polly. Walls has also danced with Salma Hayek and Marisa Tomay, and has choreographed or danced in movies like Rumor Has It, Shall We Dance, Salsa and Mambo Kings.

In 2009, UNESCO recognized tango as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

It’s one fact that speaks volumes of how popular tango is. Judging by millions of views any video with tango gets, it seems obvious. This video was published in 2015, and over three million YouTube viewers have seen it so far. We hope that the world’s best dancers will continue to surprise us with their tango acts!
