It’s a little bit rare these days to see people enjoy good, old-fashioned music.

With the rise of pop and electronic tunes, there’s a fear that some of that old soulfulness will get lost. Fortunately, this trio decided to bring that old spirit back with their medley of awesome music.

As it turns out, though, they call themselves a “quartet.”

You may be asking, “How are they a quartet if there’s only three people in the group?” According to them, they call themselves a quartet because you are the fourth member—so you better be ready to sing along!

As soon as they started playing, this passionate trio nails every song in their medley.

The trio is composed of two men playing acoustic guitars and one man playing the ukulele. All three of them are incredibly skilled at their instruments, but they also bring in a certain soulfulness and passion to the performance that you just can’t fake.

The first song on the medley was Cliff Richard’s “Daddy’s Home.”

The ukulele player begins the verse by singing in his powerfully articulated voice. When it hits the chorus, suddenly everyone joins in with a wonderful harmony that really warms your soul. After that’s over, they transition seamlessly into the next song, which is “Donna” by Ritchie Valens.

The man in the middle was next to sing, and he takes things up a notch.

The softness of his vocal runs could give people the chills—not to mention his perfect vibrato.

As usual, they give the chorus an amazing vocal blending. The third song in their queue is The Rays’ “Silhouettes,” and they take a seemingly different approach to this song. It’s the left-handed guitar player who spearheads this one, but at every end of each guitar line, they blend everything together in a way that brings out the soul of the music.

After the chorus ends, they move on to the next song which is “What’s Your Name” by Don & Juan. At this point, the ukulele player gets a chance to shine by showing off his raspy vocal runs and busting out some great harmonies.

As always, the song transitions are done oh-so smoothly.

After that, the group changes over to a part of Ritchie Valens’ “We Belong Together.”

Though they don’t sing the whole song, the part they sing is done so well that you wish it would go on for longer! After that, the big finale is Dean Martin’s “Blue Moon.” They give it their all with their complementing harmonies that were fitting for a satisfying ending. What’s clear is that all three of them are equally talented, and the range of their musical styles works together so well to bring these classics to life again.
