He’s got his own line of guitars and accessories too.

Harry introduces Keith, saying that it was to be a “jam session” but they never really worked on it.

That means no agreed song to play, no particular key agreed on, nothing.

Keith even comments on the side saying he already forgot what they were previously doing. Shouldn’t be hard for a musician like Mr. Urban though.

That’s when Harry tells Keith to start it off. No pressure, Keith.

Urban plucks a very bluesy riff on his electric guitar with Harry responding with a few ticks on his piano. Both musicians warm up by going back and forth on a few notes, the band beginning to come alive behind them.

And just like that, they finally click.

The full band comes on to both artists, with Keith’s guitar and Harry’s piano leading the up tempo jam together.

It is such a lively tune the audience can’t help but get to their feet.

A full on blues has the guys smiling and bopping their heads as they play their instruments. When they give Keith a chance to show off his solo skills, Urban responds willingly, playing off on a few scales with ease.

If this were played during a party, you’d see people twirling on the dance floor. This jam just sounds so right for a swing dance.

Why is Harry so impressive on that piano? Well it’s all on his bio.

“The foundation of Harry’s art is the music of his native New Orleans, where he began performing as a pianist and vocalist at the age of five. He was schooled by two of the city’s keyboard legends – James Booker, who allowed a pre-teen Harry to sit at his elbow in local clubs, and Ellis Marsalis, who provided more structured instruction during Harry’s teenage years. When Harry left for New York at age 18, he was equipped with a precocious command of jazz and popular music styles.”

Once they end the jam on a high note, the audience cheers in delight, approving what they’ve just witnessed.

And to think Harry and Keith never had a concrete plan.
