Set to Alan Jackson’s hit single “Chattahoochee”, this group of twelve women with their cowboy hats and boots set about dancing to a sequence of steps all performed at the same time to the country western tune.

Line dancing consists of patterned foot movements set about to a certain number of counts that are repeated all throughout the song. Each dance is to have a number of walls. The wall is the direction where the dancers face at any given time.

These cowgirls begin the dance by facing the crowd, tapping and counting to the beat.

After a sequence of steps they face left and repeat the previous steps.

Flowing like the “Chattahoochee.”

The Chattahoochee river is as picturesque as they come. It forms the southern half of Alabama and Georgia and it’s such a beauty that a local poet by the name of Sindey Lanier wrote one called “The song of the Chattahoochee”. No wonder one of Georgia’s own sons named a song after it!

After all, if your home gives you memories of good times, wouldn’t you want to immortalize that?

Georgia owns a piece of paradise.

Pretty sure there’s always a reason to smile and dance for anyone who wakes up knowing they have this magnificent river near their house.

No wonder country music often talks about the beauty of the native land and the feelings and memories made there. The place is perfect for all sorts of outdoor activities. From hiking, to mountain biking, to splashing around and just having a good time, this piece of land is a little bit of heaven on earth.

These line dancing ladies sure are enjoying the moment! It wouldn’t be a surprise if this performance reminded them of their homes and their earlier years growing up.

One viewer commented,

“Great song and great dancers, lovely smile on this end.”

Hats off, ladies!

So the next time you feel like going on an adventure, make sure you polish those dancing boots and dust off that hat. Go ahead and join those strangers too!

Line dancing is perfect for the timid and shy as it incorporates basic steps that are easy to follow. A drink or two wouldn’t hurt either.
