Here’s a little lady who’s got a very promising future.

Street musicians are always welcome surprises, especially for those who want to stop for awhile and take a break from all that walking.

In fact, there are now famous artists who were once buskers.

They need all the attention and support they can get as it helps them gain traction online and even a slim chance of catching a record producer’s eye.

This musician engaged his audience in a different way.

Joe Jenkins is a street pianist, and with around 201k subscribers, he’s surely one of the more talented ones out there.

In this video though, he’s not the one who catches the crowd’s attention.

Jenkins turns his attention to a young girl with her parents and asks her if she wants to play.

He goes on to say that he overheard them saying she could play. Hence the invite.

The shy girl clutches her dad with a sweet smile on her pretty face.

Eventually, she makes her way over the the piano (with dad’s encouragement) and already a few eyes are watching the little girl.

Her name is Zoe and when she hits a few keys, her shyness overcomes her again.

The little girl gets up and runs to her dad but Jenkins knows how to encourage the little lady. He even says he knows the song she’s playing.

Jenkins plays a part of “Blue Moon” having Zoe agree with his playing.

“I love how he encouraged her and helped her gently so much. No judgement, just a comfy space and assistance. We need more people to act like that with kids.” says a viewer.

Jenkins, together with the girl’s parents continue to encourage her as a few more people begin to gather around them.

And when Zoe finally decides to sit down and play, her fingers fly over the keys, producing such a gentle melody that had many others stopping to watch.

Jenkins stays beside her and plays along.

That young boy in the back even broke into a little dance!

“There’s something really sweet about this. No obligation to have her play, and no expectations for her to be a young Mozart. Just letting her have her moment, and letting her play what she’d like. Well done Joe, and well done Zoe. This is really special.” went another viewer.

Her confidence builds the longer they play together, and Zoe finally shows the crowd her talent.

And at such a young age, she’ll just keep getting better and better.

Joe is a really nice guy for helping build up Zoe’s confidence. Stage fright, or in this case just a whole lot of attention, can be too much for others.

Still, when Joe and Zoe hit the final keys, the crowd bursts into applause and Zoe’s parents are nothing but proud of their talented daughter.

Jenkins asks if it’s okay for him to post the video on YouTube.

We’re glad Zoe’s parents said yes.
