The casts were both amazing in both their acting and singing, but not all of them used their real voices in their performances.

Rebecca Ferguson played the character Jenny Lind in the movie, a character who was a famous Swedish singer known as the “Swedish Nightingale.” It was not Ferguson herself who sang her parts, but it was Loren Allred.

Because Allred’s performance was pretty great in the movie, just wait until you hear her in this live performance!

There are no other words to describe this performance but stunning and mesmerizing.

Allred took the stage during David Foster’s special concert, An Intimate Evening with David Foster. The concert featured various musicians performing along with the 16-time Grammy Award-winning musician and producer, David Foster. Of course, Allred was one of those musicians, and she dazzled the crowd with her performance of “Never Enough.”

She wore a long white dress as she stood near Foster and his piano on-stage.

She began her performance slowly and quietly. Her soft and smooth vocals were enough to hook anyone into listening more. Her falsettos were also quite mesmerizing to hear. She continues singing through to the first chorus with glamour and amazes everyone with her vocal range!

As she keeps singing, everyone in the room is so impressed by her powerful voice.

The transition from the chorus to the next verse was abrupt.

Unlike the first verse, her entrance this time was clearer and louder. She presented the song not only with her voice but also through her expressions and timed arm movements, which added a lot to her performance.

For the finale, she sang at the top of her lungs, producing a magical melody that wowed everyone in the audience that night.

After a wonderfully vivid execution, she got a huge round of applause from the audience—and she even got Foster’s compliments at the end of it all as well. Even he was bewildered by her performance!

As it turns out, Allred has an interesting story even before her fame.

Allred’s name was not heard until she became one of the contestants during the 3rd season of The Voice in 2012.

She sang “When Love Takes Over” by David Guetta during the blind auditions, her performance turned the chairs of Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green. Allred then chose to be part of Adam’s team. As the show progressed in the first week of the live playoffs round, she was eliminated and tied for 13th place.

Even so, she continued to pursue her career in music—and we’re glad that she did.

She became a member of the Broadway team led by songwriting duo Pasek and Paul in 2014. That became her ticket to becoming one of the voices on The Greatest Showman—and the rest is history!
