It’s a performance that’s supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

Mary Poppins came flying in to the Britain’s Got Talent stage much to the delight of the audience and the judges. But she’s not here to babysit naughty little children, oh no.

Number 17 Cherry Tree Lane is over and done with and Mary Poppins wants more.

But is Mary still “practically perfect in every way”?

Even Simon Cowell can’t help but smile, and as introductions are made, the other three judges can’t help but look up wide eyed at the magical nanny. It really is her!

And so the beloved nanny prepares for her performance, looking all spit spot as she waits for her music to play.

Viewer Axel Gambit had this to say,

Eyes popper! Jawbreaker! Goosebumps flyin’! Smiling hurts! Whiplashed! Heartbeat outta control! What else? Oh, knocked my socks off!!! BEST one ever! Took 50 years off from my age back to 6 years old! Thank you darling Mary Poppins”

But why did he say that?

See, the Black Eyed Peas’ “My Humps” begins to play, and that is certainly not a song Mary Poppins would sing too. Even the judges look confused now as they wait for what’s next.

Proving she’s still got every bit of magic in her, Mary P takes it all in stride, singing the song in her charming, English style!

And as if paying tribute to the great Julie Andrews herself, Mary P’s dress and singing style are very much a throwback to the original film where Andrews played the character.

From “My Humps”, which is rather odd for the magical nanny, Mary P transitions to Lizzo’s “Boys” this time with two dancers.

Scrumptious!

Too bad it was such a short act as we would have loved to see more of her take on different songs. And perhaps throw in a few of those classic hits from the movie itself!

She really is practically perfect in every way!

Mary P has high hopes for theater and the bright lights and we suspect she’s well on her way. After all, she can just glide right in with an umbrella in one hand, and a huge bag in the other.

George Banks did spend money paying for the nanny and he got the absolute best.

The kids in the audience must have been so confused. Mon and dad weren’t though. They loved every moment of Mary P’s performance. Look at the judges too!

“And yes y’all, she is back for the sake of ours nowadays children and even olders. God bless you Mary.” says another happy viewer.

It’s an act full of surprise and delight, and we suspect Mary P’s name is now making the rounds online.

And those kids in the audience were introduced to the character back home courtesy of mom and dad who just had a spoonful of nostalgia in the most delightful way.

Let’s hope we see more of Mary P! Catch her in the video below!
