Robyn Adele Anderson has been featured on a YouTube channel called Postmodern Jukebox, a group that has become popular in reworking popular modern music.
In many of the videos, the performers use 20th-century style scenery and blend it with swing and jazz.
Even so, it should come as no surprise when this American singer from New York turned a rap-rock classic into an upbeat country song. After being Postmodern Jukebox’s main vocalist, Anderson decided to create her own YouTube channel which by now has garnered over 600,000 subscribers.
She gained popularity with a Jazz cover of the song “Chop Suey” by System of a Down which has over 14 million views as of today.
Her cover of “Rollin'” has gained 700,000 views with mostly positive comments from the online crowd.

With an updo hairstyle, reds lips and sultry smiles, they seem like they are trying to bring back the pin-up style.

The instruments come in later, bringing a mix of country and jazz to the song.
While Anderson was executing her own spin on the song, her companions were providing her with a complimentary vocal backup.

This song became popular in 2000 and was on top of the charts when it was released.
This cover is indeed ambitious as it portrays an entirely different take to its original version.
Though the original is known for using curse words in its lyrics, this country arrangement has somewhat softened it with their pleasant voices.
In all, they took something everyone knew and spun it in a classy way. Although it sounds different, they stayed true to the song’s intended meaning—and it sounds great!
