A song about loneliness and longing, this 1975 classic somehow still speaks to us to this day.

In an age where everything is easily connected, there’s just this feeling of detachment all the time.

It was a simpler time but everyone interacted in person.

This song brings intense feelings of nostalgia, especially with both Denver and Newton-John now gone.

It’s almost like the lyrics speak of Olivia’s final days,

“All of her days have gone soft and cloudyAll of her dreams have gone dryAll of her nights have gone sad and shadyShe’s getting ready to fly”

She was an amazing actress and singer, with a wholesome beauty unmatched from her days in the 70’s up to her death.
