Mighty soldiers.

They fight for the purpose of protecting the country’s liberty and attaining peace, that’s what soldiers do.

They carry out dangerous missions and get deployed to war zones without the assurance of coming back home unharmed, let alone alive.

No fear, no mercy, no surrender.

And not an ounce of pity for whoever will try to hurt their fellowmen and comrades.

That’s what most people, including myself, know about those who serve in the military.

Little do we know, being a soldier means more than just having brute strength and fighting.

They can also be a squad of incredibly talented men.

Meet the soldiers at Fort Bragg.

In a viral Facebook video that now has nearly 8 million views, the mighty soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division wowed everyone with their impeccable a capella singing.

They sang to one of the keystone soul records of the 60s.

“My Girl” by ‘The Temptations.’

These men are too good that you might end up wondering whether they’re real soldiers or singers.

A Parachute Rigger in the division, Kara Hall, was the person behind the viral video.

She also revealed that, whenever they are around, she’d always ask the soldiers to sing different songs.

“When they are around I ask, sometimes they have time to sing for us sometimes they don’t you just have to catch enough of them together and ask, we are all down-to-earth people living our best lives, in the sky!” Hall said.

Fort Bragg in North Carolina is the world’s biggest military base and the soldiers consider it as their second home.

The base is also the home of the Airborne and Special Operations Forces and they are proud of their Airborne Division All-American Band and Chorus

As a part of their mission, the Airborne Division All-American Band and Chorus provide good music to Fort Bragg and the local communities.

They offer rock ensembles and concert bands, ceremonial bands, brass quintets, jazz, woodwind quintet, and all-American chorus.

Listen to them.

All ears on them because the soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division are not just some so-so singers, they are incredibly good.

It almost sounded like their past profession was being in a real acapella singing group.

Without their uniforms, one would probably say they are professional singers.

When Hall took the video, the soldiers were just on standby when they suddenly decided to sing the song while in full gear.

It was a beautiful moment.

They definitely knew what they were doing because there was melody, bass, baritone, lead, and tenor.

The harmony that they create is so soothing to the ears and it resonates even if they are singing in an open area.

Hall also posted the video on her TikTok account where it already reached more than half a million views.

It went viral fast.

“The 82nd ABN DIV Chorus made my day today on the drop zone when I requested an old classic!” Hall wrote along with the TikTok video. “What made it better is that they were in harness jumping from a UH-60 (helicopter).”

By the way, did I forget to mention that they were all laid back and just laying on the ground while singing?

If that didn’t impress you then I already don’t know what would.
