April 13th, 2021

Teams Elite, a synchronized skating team, is in its twenty-second season.

According to U.S. Figure Skating, “Synchronized skating offers athletes the chance to compete with a team and learn the value of teamwork and camaraderie. Formed in 1956 by Dr. Richard Porter, the sport was known as ‘precision skating’ for the intricate moves skaters perform on the ice together.”

“Our goal for the Teams Elite program is to challenge the strength and skills of each skater by offering a variety of well-rounded opportunities that meet the competitive needs of the synchronized skating community,” the organization’s website reads.
