Naomi Aye was just 12 when she appeared on The Voice Kids France for a blind audition that blew the judges away.

Naomi’s stunning version of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” will really impress you.

Aye’s blind audition had her playing the piano, singing the song with a voice that one wouldn’t normally hear from someone her age.

That voice had the judges spinning on their chairs one after the other.

Naomi wasn’t even nervous, or if she was she didn’t show it, instead displaying her talents with a confidence the late Freddie Mercury himself would be proud of.

Playing the piano and singing the song just like Freddie, Naomi’s many vocal improvisations coupled with her unbelievable range had the judges stunned, watching and listening intently to this 12-year-old.

Aye starts off softly, with a slow but impressive command of a song so beloved and famous all over the world.

She immediately impresses judges Kendji Girac and Soprano who both spin around the moment she started singing.

Girac stands for the rest of her performance.

Soprano, incredulous and lost for words, leans over as he listens to Naomi’s powerful rendition.

Naomi was about halfway through her audition when Patrick Fiori hits his button, becoming the third judge to spin and see who it was making Queen proud.

His timing is spot on, hitting and spinning right on the word “Mama”.

Jenifer Bartoli soon follows with a very soft push and spin, causing Naomi’s family to scream excitedly backstage.

All four coaches were now interested in Aye.

You could play Naomi’s performance with a live version of Freddie’s for the sake of comparisons.

Nothing beats the original for sure, but Naomi isn’t even trying to imitate Freddie.

She just performs the song in her own, unique way and that’s what makes it so special.

Aye just proved to France, and her viewers online, that she’s a star in the making.

All four judges watch as Naomi finishes with a pitch-perfect falsetto, an awesome surprise at the end of an already incredible audition.

Many have covered “Bohemian Rhapsody” but not all covers are impressive.

The song is from Queen’s fourth album, A Night At The Opera from 1975.

It’s a six minute powerhouse written by Freddie Mercury that has elements of opera, pop, ballad, and rock.

Elements that cemented the song’s legacy for decades to come.

The title is even the movie’s namesake!

It’s typical Freddie, with soft, touching words accompanied by loud, aggressive, sarcastic lines that have endeared so many to Queen and this song in particular.

Naomi at the young age of 12 sang the song with emotion and so much passion.

She is actually Cuban and Hungarian. Aye lives in Luxembourg and can speak 5 languages.

She began singing and playing the piano at a young age.

Naomi does prefer singing while playing the piano and it clearly shows here.

She will just get better with time, and we hope to see Aye performing big concerts in the future.
